      <image:caption>Hi! I am glad that you are here. I’m Jessica Miller, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Towson, Maryland. My approach to counseling is both eclectic and holistic- I believe strongly in the mind-body connection and utilize a variety of evidence based tools in my work with clients including Exposure and Response Prevention (for OCD and sometimes anxiety) , Brainspotting (so clients can process memories and traumatic events big and small), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, externalization/visualization exercises and mindfulness. I play an active role in therapy and often assign homework (holding clients accountable to start a new daily habit, have a difficult but necessary conversation or set a boundary with a coworker). I focus on meeting my clients where they are in the here and now, as well as taking a deep dive into childhood experiences which we all carry with us as adults! I am passionate about working with clients who experience OCD and anxiety, those who are highly sensitive, and young adults navigating first time careers and the “real world” as well new parents and parents of young children.</image:caption>
